The question here is: when will this app be released for platforms other than Linux? And what are the differences between this and the conventional 16e lattice sieve?

Hopefully I will have time to work on 32-bit Linux and 64-bit Mac in a few weeks. Windows, tho, is unclear.

This is just a somewhat newer version of the codebase. It allows sieving over larger q and uses a little less memory.

Hello - Being new to NFS, I just checked the box and kept expecting to eventually get some '16e Lattice Sieve V5' work, but it appears there is no app for Windows? I'm running Win7-64.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Nevermind, sorry, I looked where I should have in the first place and found my answer!

Here's to wishing for such an app though! ;)

If you have enough memory per thread, something like 1.2GB, you can then install VirtualBox with Ubuntu on it so you can have access to the 16e V5 application.
