I never aborted or reset NFS. Why were over 200 lost tasks lost from a single client? 150 from another PC

If set, and a list is present in scheduler request, resend any in-progress results not in the list. This is recommended; it may increase the efficiency of your project. For reasons that are not well understood, a BOINC client sometimes fails to receive the scheduler reply. This flag addresses that issue: it causes the SAME results to be resent by the scheduler, if the client has failed to receive them.

The server detected that your client failed to receive some results and resent them.

I guess it could be a timing issue of turning off networking on the client in between client messages
