| Description | This team was created in memory of Autumn Aili Bongiorni, who passed away before her second birthday from SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). Father of Autumn and Founder: Eric Bongiorni (Ejrech), Mother of Autumn and Co-Founder: Amanda Bongiorni (Mandi). BOINC is a program that donates the unused portion of your computer's ability to do things, to scientific projects of your choice. Analyzing proteins that will possibly cure diseases would be one example of a project you could choose to contribute to. We welcome all family, friends, and strangers to help, by contributing to whatever causes they feel are worthwhile! Here's how to get started: 1) Make sure you have an email to use for the BOINC donation program, and try to pick or create one you'll have for a very LONG time to come... say, 5 years or so. 2) Go to the BOINC-wide Teams page.
