1) Message boards : Questions/Problems/Bugs : lasievef 1.08 still errors w/ windows (Message 550)

In addition to the somewhat increased compute-time estimates that others are seeing with lasievef v1.08, I'm also seeing very infrequent checkpointing on Linux-32, only every 7-8 minutes.

lasievee v1.08 behaviour is the same as with previous versions, frequent checkpoints and more normal compute times.

EDIT: never mind, Greg's post came in while I was typing this up.

I just noticed that I'm having the same problem, same WUs and application. Also 32-bit Linux. (My Linux is actually emulated by FreeBSD, which I assumed to be the problem, but maybe it's not.) 15e v1.07 WUs run fine.

(scroll past all the aborts)

FWIW, the time of the crash seems to be about when the first checkpoint would be made.
3) Message boards : Questions/Problems/Bugs : result won't upload (Message 463)

I have one task that's complete but won't upload:

http://escatter11.fullerton.edu/nfs/result.php?resultid=6377725

It seems to send all but the last 32k and then hangs:
Temporarily failed upload of S2L1798_114821_0_0: HTTP error

Sometimes it won't even start:
Error reported by file upload server: [S2L1798_114821_0_0] locked by file_upload_handler PID=[various]

I saw an old thread with a similar report--same problem? Anything to be done about it before I just abort the transfer?

thanks,
Jeff
