Hi all,

I just joined this project and I find that when I log in and after I search for a team to join, it doesn't show the "Join team" option....

What is more puzzling is that to the right of the screen it shows the "log in" function, even though I am already logged in !!

It's not a credit issue, as I now have credit and still cannot join a team :-(

I guess this really is an admin issue....so can someone flag this up please?

You are clearly logged in since you were able to post here. To verify, in the upper right corner it should have your name and a link to log out. Once you get that, go to the team page, http://escatter11.fullerton.edu/nfs/team_display.php?teamid=618. On that page, the upper right corner should still have your name and a link to log out. The link to Join this team is just under Type near the bottom.

I think the issue is with the BOINC code - as now that I have credits, I was able to join a team.

Before I had the credits, even though I was logged in, when I went to any teams page (in order to join it) at top right it had "log in".....so, clearly, before you have a specific number of credits, I would suggest that the BOINC server code doesn't recognise you as being logged in and hence the "Join this team" option, isn't available.

Now I have credits on this project, I've been able to join a team and all seems good.

FYI: I had the same issue with CAS@home and now I have credits on their project, so I've been able to join a team there as well.

Maybe there is a threshold that you have to attain, before you can join a team?
(But if that's the case, how come some people have zero credits and yet are members of a team ??)
